Refund policy
All sales are final. Gira Ninja LLC does not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for change of mind, buyer's remorse, or disagreement with a card's condition or eye appeal after delivery.
Collectible cards are uniquely vulnerable to return fraud — a card can be damaged, swapped, or substituted after it leaves our hands, and we have no way to prove what happened once it is out of our control. A final-sale policy is how we keep prices fair for the collectors who buy honestly. Please read the listing and study the photos before you order, and message us with questions first. We would rather answer ten questions than have you unhappy with a purchase you cannot return.
What we do before your order ships
Every item is inspected and photographed in hand before it is listed:
- Every card is examined for authenticity before it is offered for sale. We do not knowingly list counterfeit, reproduction, proxy, or altered product. If we cannot satisfy ourselves that an item is genuine, we do not sell it.
- Graded slabs are verified against the grading company's public certification database, and the certification number is legible in the listing photographs. We photograph the front and back of every slab before packing.
- Raw singles are photographed front and back under natural light, out of sleeve where practical, with any notable flaw shown. Our stated condition is our honest assessment; it is not a professional grade and is not a prediction of what any grading company would assign.
- Sealed product is listed as sealed only when the factory seal is intact and undisturbed. We do not weigh, search, or resell resealed product.
- Video games are authentic original releases. We do not sell reproduction cartridges or discs.
The narrow situations we do resolve
A final-sale policy does not mean we walk away when we got something wrong or the mail failed. These are the four situations we will act on. How each one is resolved is set out below — the two that are our fault are put right in full, and the two the carrier caused are settled through the carrier:
- Your order never arrived. Tracking shows the package was not delivered, or was delivered to the wrong address.
- It arrived damaged in transit. The packaging shows damage consistent with mishandling.
- We sent the wrong item. What you received does not match what you ordered.
- The item is materially not as described. This includes an item that proves to be inauthentic, a slab whose certification number does not match the listing, or a defect that was clearly not visible in the listing photographs.
What we need from you
Claims under the four situations above must be reported within 48 hours of the delivery scan and must include:
- An unedited, continuous unboxing video that begins with the sealed, unopened package with the shipping label visible and continues without cuts through opening the item. This is the single most important piece of evidence and we cannot approve a damage, wrong-item, or not-as-described claim without it.
- Photographs of the outer packaging and all packing material, which you should keep until the claim is closed.
- For graded slabs, a clear photo of the certification number, which must match the number shown in the listing photographs.
Claims where the certification number does not match the item we shipped, or where the item shows damage inconsistent with the unboxing footage, will be denied and reported to the payment provider as attempted fraud.
How claims are resolved
Wrong item, or not as described. These are our mistakes. You get a full refund of the purchase price and original shipping, or a replacement where an identical item is available. Approved returns require the original item to be sent back in the condition it was received, in the original slab or holder, using a shipping method we specify.
Lost in the mail. If tracking shows the package was never delivered, you get a full refund or a replacement. We handle the claim ourselves — with Shipsurance if you took the insured option, with the carrier if not — and you do not have to wait on it to be refunded.
Scanned as delivered but missing. Where tracking shows the package was delivered to the address you gave us, we are not able to refund or replace it — from our side and the carrier's, that order arrived. Contact us anyway and we will pull the delivery record and help you take it up with USPS, and if you have a signature-confirmed order we will file the claim. Check with your household and neighbours first, and look for a safe-drop spot; most of these turn up.
Damaged in transit. We are not responsible for what happens to a package once it is with the carrier, and we do not refund transit damage out of our own pocket. What you receive is what the claim pays.
- We file the claim and handle it start to finish. You never deal with the carrier or the insurer.
- Who the claim goes to depends on how your order shipped. If you chose Insured shipping, it goes to Shipsurance, the insurer behind that option. If you did not, it goes to the carrier under the coverage included with the label — currently $100.
- Keep the item and every piece of packaging until the claim closes. Photographs of the damaged item and the box are required, and neither the insurer nor the carrier will pay a claim on packaging that has been thrown away. Do not hand the item back to the carrier unless we ask you to.
- You receive the full amount the claim pays out, passed straight to you. We keep none of it.
- If your order was within the coverage that applied, that payout is a full refund. Above it, we can only pass on what was paid. If the claim is denied, there is nothing to pass on, and we will show you the denial.
How long this takes. Claims are not instant. Damage claims are filed as soon as we have your evidence. Claims for a package that never arrives cannot even be opened until 20 days after it shipped, because until then the carrier still considers it in transit. From filing, a decision usually takes a further one to three weeks. We will keep you updated, but we cannot pay out money we have not received.
This is why we offer insurance at checkout. On any order of $100 or more you are shown an "Insured shipping" option with the price stated before you pay. Take it and the full value of your order is covered — against theft as well as loss and damage — so a damaged package is refunded in full. Decline it and you are choosing to carry the risk above the standard coverage yourself — that is a legitimate choice on a cheap card, and a costly one on an expensive card.
We would genuinely rather you took the insurance on anything valuable. It costs a few dollars and it is the difference between a claim that makes you whole and a card that is simply gone.
Nothing here affects your rights where we got it wrong — a wrong item, an inauthentic card, or an item that never arrived is still on us, in full.
What is not a valid claim
- Change of mind, or finding the card cheaper elsewhere
- Disagreement with our stated condition where the listing photographs accurately showed the card
- Centering, print lines, whitening, or surface flaws that are visible in the listing photographs
- Disappointment with a grade received after you submitted the card for grading
- Any card removed from its graded slab, or any item altered, pressed, cleaned, trimmed, or resleeved after delivery
- Market movement after purchase
- Claims reported more than 48 hours after delivery
- Claims without the unboxing video described above
Cancelling an order
You may cancel an order for a full refund any time before it ships. Email us as soon as possible. Once the package has a carrier acceptance scan, it cannot be cancelled.
Order accuracy and pricing errors
If we discover that an item was listed at an incorrect price, was already sold, or was listed in error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full. We will always contact you first.
Payment disputes
If you believe something has gone wrong, contact us before filing a chargeback. Nearly everything is faster to fix directly, and we would rather solve it than fight it. Filing a chargeback does not remove your obligation to provide the evidence described above.
